Chair: Jason Tsai

Greetings! My name is Jason, a junior at DIS and I am honored to serve as the Head Chair of GA4 at DISMUN this year. This is my 9th conference and will be my 3rd time chairing.

When I attended my first MUN conference, I was nervous about giving speeches, asking POIs, and forgetting the procedures. I thought even a small mistake would make me look awkward. But once I got into the committee room, I realized that a lot of other people felt the same way, and that making a few mistakes really wasn’t a big deal. This experience taught me that mistakes are part of learning and that having the courage to try matters more than being perfect. As I attended more conferences, I became more comfortable speaking about global issues and realized how important it is to stay civically aware and involved.

Outside of MUN, I enjoy following current events, cycling, taking walks, listening to music, and catching up on sleep. As your chair, I understand how much it takes to have the courage to speak up as a new delegate, since I have been one not too long ago. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there are any questions or concerns at 1700007@dishs.tp.edu.tw I hope DISMUN IX will be a memorable experience for you!

Co-Chair: Aiden Ting

Hey delegates!

I’m Aiden, a ninth grader from Dominican International School (DIS). I’m honored to serve as your co-chair of DISMUN IX’s General Assembly 4. This would be my third conference and my first time chairing, insane right? I first joined MUN to hang out at the Royal Hotel with my best friend Dennis, but ended up getting addicted to the exhilarating feeling of being up at the podium. Besides MUN, I box, swim, draw, and play my favorite game, Rainbow Six Siege, which I spent around 800 hours on. If you want to ask me any questions or 1v1 me, here is my:
