Hi delegates! I’m Marcella Wu, a Junior from Hsinchu County American School. I am incredibly honor to serve as your president of APQ at DISMUN VIII! I first joined MUN in 8th grade, after receiving lots of encouragement from my friends. Over the years, it has become one of my biggest passion. MUN has taught me a great deal about confidence and keeps me informed on the world's current issues, I still remember how nervous I was as a newcomer, struggling to even ask POIs, so I understand the challenges new delegates face. But I believe that through debates and exploring global issues, we can all grow and learn together. Besides MUN, I love listening to music and binge-watching Netflix series; I love rom-coms a lot, so feel free to reach out to me if there are any show recommendations!! Deputy President: Charmaine Tseng (DIS)

Charmaine Tseng, a freshman at Dominican International School, is currently serving as the Assistant Head Delegate in DIS. She has attended three conferences as a delegate—TASMUN, HSINMUN, and DISMUN—and is now excited to take on a new leadership role and gain experience as a first-time deputy chair. Charmaine enjoys debating, having meaningful discussions, and connecting with new people from diverse backgrounds. Her hobbies include dancing, baking, playing the cello, and occasionally sleeping and Netflix. Charmaine looks forward to supporting delegates and helping create a fun, respectful, and memorable MUN experience where everyone feels encouraged to speak up and grow.
