President: Amy Wang (IBSH)
Hey, delegates!
My name is Amy Wang (she/her), and I am a current senior at the International Bilingual School at Hsinchu Science Park (IBSH). I am so honored to serve as your Security Council President, I promise SC is always the best committee and you will have a blast! Not only will DISMUN VII be my 12th conference and third time chairing for SC, but it will also be the last conference of my MUN journey. As a glimpse into myself as a person, I found that my favorite topics of debate are U.S. politics and the legal system (to which I may have listened to way too many podcasts). In my free time, I either spend time watching Netflix, horror analog series, or reading. I am also an avid dancer and basketball player. As DISMUN VII will be the last MUN conference of my high school career, I hope I may inspire you in the same ways that several chairs have done for me. I encourage you to break out of your shells, try main-submitting as much as you can, or maybe even impromptu speaking. Soon, you will find yourself a new debater, better armed than ever before. With that being said, I hope to see you all very soon in February, peace out!

Deputy President: Juliet Fung (IBSH)
Greetings, delegates.
I’m Juliet Fung, a sophomore at the International Bilingual School of Hsinchu. I am incredibly honored to serve as your Deputy President of SC at DISMUN this year!
I joined MUN in middle school, and this conference marks my 10th conference and 3rd time chairing. Through attending these conferences, I’ve found long-lasting friendships, gained more confidence in public speaking, and learned more about current global matters. To me, MUN is more than just a place where students meet up and discuss current worldwide events; it is a place that inspires all of us to freely express our thoughts to make a change not just as students, but as members of our society and future global leaders.
Aside from MUN, I enjoy listening to music, video editing, spending time with my friends, karaoke sessions, and watching Netflix series (especially the c-drama “When I Fly Towards You”!!).
Don’t worry if you aren’t familiar with the procedures, as this conference is a learning experience for everyone and we will guide you through every step of the process.
Please feel free to reach out to me through email, at 440024@ibsh.tw, if you have any questions. See you in February!
