Welcome to GA6! I’m Abigail Lee, a rising sophomore in DIS, and I am honored to be your head chair for DISMUN IX’s GA6. 
   My MUN journey began in eighth grade, when I was a shy delegate who was often hesitant to speak. Over time, however, MUN has helped me become a more confident speaker who is no longer afraid to share my ideas. Because of that experience, I understand how intimidating conferences can feel, especially for first-time delegates. 
   Whether this is your first conference or your tenth, I hope to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable participating and challenging themselves. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or reach out if you need any support before or during the conference.

Hi delegates! I’m Sylvia Shih, a sophomore from Hsinchu International School. I’m incredibly honored to be serving as your deputy chair for General Assembly at DISMUN this year! I started my MUN journey back in grade 7, and this conference marks my 10th conference and first time chairing. I started as a shy delegate who despised MUN and was overwhelmed by the formal procedures. But with the support of the other delegates and chairs, I gradually grew more comfortable and eventually found my passion in MUN. Through these conferences, I made incredible friendships and found so many new perspectives I would never have found if not for MUN. 

Aside from MUN, I enjoy watching sports,listening to music, hanging out with my friends, and going shopping. I am a huge fan of Barcelona FC and Olivia Rodrigo!As your deputy chair, I am extremely excited to share this awesome experience with you all and create a welcoming and engaging environment where every delegate, whether new or experienced, feels comfortable speaking and actively engaging in discussions.I look forward to seeing you all in November!
